Closer Look At The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Pine Green”

Closer Look At The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Pine Green”

The past week has been a frenzy for Air Jordan 1 lovers as Beaverton welcomed back the silhouette’s original shape from 1985 through its extremely limited “Varsity Red” makeover, as well as its “New Beginnings” offering alongside the Nike Air Ship. Building off of the excitement collected from its All-Star Week releases, the Retro High OG version is closing out the second month of the year with a “Pine Green” iteration scheduled to drop on Leap Year Day. For the upper, Boston Celtic greenery steals the show by honing in on its heels, ankle collars, Swooshes, and toe boxes, and differentiates itself from its “DMP” Pack and “Green Toe” predecessors by leaving the rest of its paneling to a singular black hue reminiscent of “Bred” style color-blocking. Accented decor arrives by way of a double stacked Wings logo that is tonally blacked out, followed by a tiny hint of “Gym Red” located on the tongue branding. Mark your calendars for February 29th as that is the official release day, and expect them to hit Nike.com and select retailers for $170 USD.
