Michael Le No easy act to follow, Off-White’s take on the Air Jordan 5 for All-Star was likely one of the best creations the silhouette has seen in quite a long time, and if you’re not a big fan of golf personally, then the next on your radar is most likely going to be the forthcoming “Top 3” colorway. Mixing together its most iconic schemes — in a fashion reminiscent of the series’ prior AJ1 or the somewhat similar “What The” AJ4 — the pair takes a new lease on life by way of the past’s “Fire Red,” “Metallic,” and “Grape” notables. Among those, the easiest to pinpoint is certainly the latter whose vibrant hits of purple and aqua blue add a pop of color along the tongue and its embedded Jumpman insignia. Elsewhere, the black-dominated “Metallic” steers the helm as much of the upper, cages, and front-placed accents of the tooling adhere to its versatile arrangements. Topped by the midsole molds and “23” lettering of the “Fire Red,” the release comes together as a proper love letter to the model itself.
