For Steph Curry’s Birthday, UA Debuts An Off-Court Lifestyle PE

This Saturday, March 14th marks the 32nd birthday of the greatest shooter the NBA has ever witnessed, Stephen Curry. For Under Armour, the brand usually tends to celebrate the Golden State Warriors’ point guard with a special basketball pair such as his “Splash Party” rendition for this previous signature model. However, it looks as though this year is going to be a little different as accompanying the birthday cakes and candles will instead be a special lifestyle Curry 7 offering entitled the “Pi Day” PE since the celebrations fall on identical dates. Constructional modifications are mostly presented through its now high-profile upper, which features full knit fabrications and a laceless entry system designed specifically for lifestyle usage. The silhouette is a much cleaner take atop his usual basketball silhouette, only showing evidence of base design lines through its singular seam that runs along the midfoot. Sole pieces contrast through a clean white hue, and the heel tabs are adorned with the first 30 digits of Pi as a direct nod to the commemoration of the mathematical constant. For those looking to grab a pair, they will be releasing on UnderArmour.com and at select retailers on March 14th, for a price point of $140 USD.
