For the Air Max Day celebrations of 2020, Nike is bridging the gap between old and new by reviving the ever popular duck camouflage graphics championed by atmos’ Air Max 90 collaboration from 2013. Included in this celebratory collection arrives the Air Max 90 and the futuristic-inspired Air Max 2090. The latter gets crafted in what the Swoosh is dubbing their very own “Infrared Duck Camo” iteration, and is reflected via its “Baroque Brown” and green patterns that peak out ever so slightly through its exterior black overlay. Furthermore, reptilian snakeskin adorns the outlined Swooshes located solely on the lateral walls to follow the similar design aesthetic employed on its AM 90 release sibling. Most overt characteristics certainly are the sporty midsole and heel pieces that are hued in Infrared gloss, followed by the track-shaped tongue emblem that hosts its identical tone. This forthcoming colorway will be made available in both unisex and youth sizing and will be dropping on March 26th on Nike.com and at select retailers.
