Michael Le Despite having to close their doors as a result of COVID-19, CONCEPTS has continued on strong with their online presence, updating their site with current releases while keeping up with their many fans stuck in quarantine. And after dropping the Black/Yellow Lanvin Bumper a few days ago, the boutique is readied to proffer yet another exclusive though this time alongside the veritably popular BAPE. From their most signature BAEPSTA to a cozy set of slippers, the Spring 2020 line-up is undeniably diverse, but the range effectively threads together with a shared use of the imprint’s iconic camo print.
Only one outlier lies in the four-part set of standouts, one whose constructions forgo the typical for a much more polished arrangement of patent leathers. Its BAPESTA form, though, stays relatively unblemished with each upper panel arriving vibrant in an all-over blue base coat. The star insignia as well as the lace unit, lining, and tongue, however, contrast by way of a pristine white much like that of its camouflaged alternate. Switching things up with canvas materials as well, the pair evokes nostalgia as the flagship graphic dons its green and tan earth tones. The slippers follow suit near identically save for just one of the two as it dresses up in a palette of bright reds and pinks.
