The Nike Air Max 90 has struck a healthy balance of classic and experimental releases for its 30th Anniversary. The latest addition comes in the form of a far-from-original, statement-making option for kids.
Though constructed with it’s 30-year-old shape, the kid-exclusive Air Max 90 deviates from the tried-and-tested. Clad in a scheme reminiscent of the Kobe IV Grinch, lime green uppers are accented by darker TPU details along the tongue, near the collar and at the heel. Profile Swooshes proffer further contrast, though with a pattern replete with blue, purple and orange. Elsewhere, the medley of colors appear across the laces and collar lining, with the latter being completely taken over by a fuchsia-like hue. The eye-catching palette spills onto the bottom-half of this kids’ Air Max, but it takes a backseat to the midsole’s mostly-white arrangement.
Take a look at official images of this pair here below while you wait for a Nike.com launch in the coming weeks. When you’re done, check out the equally eye-catching Air Max 97 for kids.
