As Reebok’s DMX series continues to expand, their designs become more and more conceptual with each new offering, proffering the same cushioning in a bevy of fresh, futuristic forms. The DMX Elusion 001 FT — whose namesake is seemingly forward thinking as is — taps an aggressive framework and revises it for utility through a host of subtle modifications. Its upper, which constructs from the foundation of an internal bootee, lays atop a strong, supportive architecture of adjustable midfoot and ankle straps as well as an off-kilter though still somewhat traditional lace unit. Each hued in black, the synthetic top line then transitions forward suddenly to a toe box of mesh fabrication; adjacent, synthetic panels adorn with contrasting accents and pronounced stitch just above. Moreover, the starring TPU energy plate then works its way through the EVA tooling in a purple shading, finishing at the heel counter in a more expansive, cradling form. Grab a detailed look at these here and find them available now at Reebok.com for a retail of $140 USD.
