Nearly halfway through 2020, Nike has repleted the start of the new decade with a strong list of Air Max 90s as the Beaverton-headquartered imprint celebrates its 30th birthday. Following its recent updates inspired by that of summer festivals and milky way galaxies, as well as popping up with in “Home and Away” Jewel renditions, the classic Sportswear silhouette readying another entry into its “Cork” lineup. Previously seen styled with angelic uppers and denim-like aesthetics, the premium model is now relying on a set of neutral tones to construct this latest offering. At base, the canvas fabrications are primarily hued in a light tan, and come supported with various khaki shadings along the suede overlays, lacestays, and heels, followed by a latte-esque brown tone resting on its leather mudguards. Moreover, the cork-lined footbeds are kept consistent as they bear identical “Just Do It” branding spelled out in cursive text and the outsoles feature chippy speckled patterns evoking a similar look to the upcoming Space Hippie collection. Stay tuned as we learn more of its official release on Nike.com in the coming weeks, and note that they are available now in select retailers overseas.
In other news, St. John Dunk Lows are expected to drop on June 12th.
