The Nike Daybreak Type Arrives In Maroon And Grey

Though one of the newest from Nike’s N.354 sub-label, the Daybreak Type has effectively eclipsed many of its predecessors — fans enamored with the reserved deconstructed aesthetic. Possibly beloved for its similarities to sacai’s LDWaffle, the upper constructs in a small range of paneling that is essentially ripped from the model’s original. Suede accents the toe cap here in a light, almost incongruous blue while the pieces behind break out from the darker backdrop in a light grey. Swooshes are stitched with contrast to match the neutral tone, looping through the somewhat open mesh of the maroon base. Finished with bright white laces, midsoles, tongues, and penciled branding, the silhouette’s latest colorway is likely to release at both Nike.com and select retailers very soon.

In other news, CDG Dunk Lows drop tomorrow, May 14th.
