Best Look Yet At The Nike Zoom Freak 2

The next time we’ll be able to witness Giannis Antetokounmpo do his thing on the basketball floor is still up in the air, but we do have confirmations that Nike Basketball is in the midst of finalizing production on his forthcoming signature shoe. The Nike Zoom Freak 2 — after already being previewed via teaser images and a few on-foot perspectives — is now providing us with a more in-depth look at its upcoming green/white option.

Bucks’ home team colors likely serve as the inspiration for its palette, and it’s utilized with an execution of interesting details. Patterns that start from the toe and go 3/4ths of the way towards the rear feature a collection of leaf-type graphics, rear underlays are decorated with zig-zag patterns potentially nodding to the Greek Freak’s high energy style of play, and the medial panels print out his jersey number in oversized fashion. Moreover, the triangle-stamped tongues feature his signature Swoosh logo, and the insoles spell out the words “I Am My Father’s Legacy” to echo the All-Star’s deep love for his family. For other Nike Basketball news, the LeBron 7 MVP is expected to drop later this Summer.
