Nike’s summer-ready “Cherry” theme has previously landed on the Air Force 1 and Cortez. Now, the picnic-reminiscent concept arrives to an Air Max 97 for kids.

Akin to the Air Force 1, this Air Max release is laden with graphics of its unofficial moniker. “White” and “University Blue” gingham covers the pair’s entire base, whereas it simply graced the Cortez’s sockliner. The latter hue also appears at the laces, collar, and tongue and heel pull tabs. As with previous “Cherry” iterations, fruit-like Swoosh dubraes round out the uppers’ theme. Underfoot, sole units divvy up the Air Max 97’s color trifecta, with full-length Airbags boasting a bold “Track Red” hue.

Enjoy a detailed look at the Air Max 97 “Cherry” here below and find pairs available right now at the select retailers ahead.

For more kid-exclusives from The Swoosh, check out the “Sky Nike” collection launching June 6th.
