The Mesh-Uppered Nike Air Max Plus Pairs Cream With Bright Neons

The Mesh-Uppered Nike Air Max Plus Pairs Cream With Bright Neons

The Nike Air Max Plus, a cult-classic across Europe and Australia, has recently emerged in (arguably) one of its most impressive, non-original colorways yet: a “Sail” ensemble featuring “Digital Pink” and “Opti Yellow” accents.

Uppers forgo the silhouette’s traditional synthetic construction in favor of a summer-ready mesh; the breathable textile is free of any gradient finishes, but are lined with the Air Max Plus‘ signature TPU “fingers.” LEGO-like lace dubraes, branding on the tongue, and profile Swooshes interrupt their surroundings’ “Sail” composition with “Digital Pink” and “Opti Yellow,” best seen at the forefoot and midfoot. “Tn” badges at the heel don’t deviate from their standard presentation, but whale-tail shaped shanks on underfoot boast an uncommon gradient scheme. Sole units further indulge in a predominantly tonal off-white arrangement, but Tuned Air units and their accompanying tooling revel in eye-catching hues rooted in the silhouette’s defiant style.

No stateside Nike.com release date is yet known, but this Air Max model is currently available in women’s sizing overseas for the equivalent of $170 USD.
