The Air Jordan 5 “Alternate Grape” Is Releasing On July 7th

The Air Jordan 5 “Alternate Grape”, another spin on the 1990 release famously worn by Will Smith on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, is now tentatively scheduled for July 7th instead of June 13th.

Clad in “Grape Ice,” the upcoming Jordan 5 retro is the boldest ’90-follow-up yet. Primarily constructed from suede, uppers on the pair are contrasted by “Black,” mixed material accents across the throat, midfoot, and collar. Lateral heels forgo any “23” text; Jumpman logos at the spine keep things subtle and non-OG. “New Emerald” at the tongue, lace toggles, and midsole detailing, however, indulge in this Jordan 5’s 30-year-old muse. Unlike the Off White Jordan 5, the sole unit’s outsole boasts an icy arrangement sure to yellow with wear.

Enjoy a detailed look at the upcoming Jordan 5 “Alternate Grape” here below while you wait to secure your pair through Nike.com on July 7th. (Given the current global landscape, release dates are subject to change.)

In other Jordan news, the Jordan 1 Tie Dye releases in the US on July 26th.
