Wacko Maria And Vans To Drop A Japan-Exclusive Authentic

Wacko Maria And Vans To Drop A Japan-Exclusive Authentic

Though relatively new to the sneaker scene, Wacko Maria has debuted a number of interesting collaborations, including an ostensibly scrapped Nike Janoski as well as a series of Converse Chuck 70s. And now, the Americana-inspired label looks to be moving forward with Vans as they select the beloved Authentic silhouette for a graphic heavy Japan exclusive. Replete of their signature, the upper arrives accented with a number of graphic touch-ups, creating a tattoo-like sleeve of varying inspiration. Flames are detailed on the toe box multiple times as a possible nod to vintage cars, while various folk art motifs err on the side of horror as ghoul-like figures and mutilated characters adorn both the shoe and its accompanying box. Grab a detailed look at these right here, and if you’re looking to grab a set, they’ll be available overseas on July 11th.

In unrelated news, the Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN Bone is dropping in the US on July 11th.
