KITH And Nike Gear Up For NYC-Themed Air Force 1 Collaboration

KITH And Nike Gear Up For NYC-Themed Air Force 1 Collaboration

One of the few pillars of New York City, KITH has arguably become as iconic as dollar slice pizza — the imprint among the many stopping points for tourists and locals alike. And even though the store had to temporarily shut down operations as a result of COVID-19, Ronnie Fieg still kept busy behind the scenes as he’s geared to release not only an ASICS GEL-Lyte III but also an NYC-themed Nike Air Force 1.

Teased months ago by way of rumor, the latter offering is finally seeing the light of days thanks to sneaker insiders. The upper, which is for the most part simple, follows the minimalism the streetwear namesake has become known for. Swooshes, in departure from their completely black-dyed backdrop, highlight themselves with glossy TPU and a gradient finish that dresses in blue on the lateral and orange along the medial. Typical KITH branding is then applied atop the gold-clad dubrae, the box-logo covered tongue patch, and the heel’s usual embroidery.

Stamped with “NYC,” the pair is set to commemorate the Big Apple later this Fall alongside a yet-to-be revealed white colorway.

In other news, another CLOT Air Max 1 is currently in the works.
