With the amount of attention that the Nike Dunk Low has gotten throughout 2020, it’s no surprise that the Swoosh is capitalizing on the moment to introduce the women’s Disrupt edition of the silhouette.
At a (quick) glance, the Dunk Low Disrupt is familiar to its original form and even the Air Jordan 1 Low, but more thorough inspection reveals notable differences. Slightly-yellowed, exposed foam tongues deliver a touch of vintage appeal to the fashion-forward sneaker. Mesh underlays, clad in “Summit White”, indulge in a breathable mesh construction, and are overlaid with leather panels of the same hue. Profile swooshes mostly maintain their standard arrangement, but dip underneath surrounding overlays towards their front and center. Just as the iconic sidewall logo, collar lining boasts an eye-catching “Gym Red” tone that interrupts the otherwise muted colorway. Underfoot, the “Sail”, re-worked sole unit features a platform-like build rounded out by a semi-translucent, “Photon Dust” outsole.
A Nike SNKRS launch hasn’t been confirmed yet, but this Dunk Low Disrupt is arriving to select European retailers on September 4th. In any case, enjoy official images of the pair here below.
