The Instant Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low Releases Tomorrow

Instant Skateboards’ 25th Anniversary, though quiet for the majority of the year, has quickly picked up momentum upon the official reveal of their Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration, a release that pays nod to both the imprint themselves as well as the buses in Shibuya that took skaters to their favorite spots.

An overt reference, the two-toned colorway mimics the aforementioned public transport as close as possible while the accents adjacent act as smaller, more subtle pieces to the same exact puzzle. Forward, the suedes at the toe box dress in muted neutrals to better complement the light blues that coat the mid-panel, eye stay, as well as the majority of the counter and lining. Swooshes overlay in dark black like that of the vehicle’s windows, finishing in tandem with the Hachiko-inspired embroidery at the heel and the headlight reminiscent reflective finish at the toe.

Grab a detailed look at these once again here and expect a release to hit global skate shops tomorrow.

In other news, the Dunk High Spartan Green also releases this week.
