Much like the way the teams at Nike are gearing up to unload protective footwear in anticipation of the wetter seasons, adidas is answering them by applying technological, weatherproof upgrades to their silhouettes. One being the classic Ultra Boost which has recently been remixed into a new Winter.Rdy (short for Winter Ready) model.
Whether you’re simply taking a walk around the block to alleviate yourself of quarantine blues or getting after it through a multi-mile run, this newly designed offering comes with knit uppers that have water-shedding capabilities to keep your feet dry in inclement weather. In terms of its visual composition, the pair effectively unifies that of greyscale and neon tones, the former seen through the “Grey Two” uppers/Boost cushioning, while the latter is repsponsible for coating the features such as the toe tip piping, the throat banner and branding, and the heel loops. If you’re interested in getting your hands on these functional kicks, you can expect these to release on adidas.com on September 29th for $190 USD.
Elsewhere in sneaker news, the Salehe Bembury New Balance 2002R is dropping on 10/23.
