This Toe-Capped adidas NMD R1 Covered In Multi-Lingual Brand Slogan

As the adidas Ultra Boost has celebrated its fifth anniversary, the adjacent NMD has further developed its own release roster. The latest addition arrives in the form of a two-tone arrangement replete with branding specific to the model.

While more durable than the inaugural silhouette, the NMD R1 keeps the sock-like aesthetic intact. Clad in “Grey Five,” the forthcoming pair features barely discernible accents throughout its textile upper in the same hue. A “Solar Green” reminiscent hue interrupts the tonal color scheme around the toe, at the heel pull tab and accents on the rear Boost cushioning. Although the lifestyle option doesn’t boast any technical specifications (i.e. water resistance), it takes design cues from products that do. EVA plugs along the midsole further contrast the greyscale arrangement with their black makeup.

Enjoy official images of the pair here below while you wait for more news of a stateside adidas.com launch to emerge.
