It’s no secret that Nike SB has had a stellar year, but what’s unquestionably lesser known, at least to a mainstream audience, is that the Swoosh’s sub label has been killing it for the last decade through non-SB Dunk propositions. Among them, the SB Blazer Low GT.
Grant Taylor, for who the model is named, boasts an impressive 2020 catalog all while leaning on simple, versatile arrangements. The latest dips the once-basketball icon in a “Black/University Red /White” color trifecta that’s graced some of the most iconic pairs within the Air Jordan line. Suede throughout the pair’s upper indulges in the darkest tone, while leather profile swooshes and branding on the tongue label deliver stark scarlet contrast. “NIKE” text across the Blazer’s top-half further deviates from its surroundings “Black” makeup with a simple “White” hue, which also takes over the midsole. A favorite among sneaker enthusiasts as with Taylor, light gum brown outsoles round out the pair.
An official Nike.com release date is unknown, but this SB Blazer Low GT is currently available at select shops in Europe.
For more from NIKE, Inc., a Supreme SB Dunk Low collaboration is rumored to be arriving in 2021.
