With their past few releases, Nike has exhibited a reignited interest in patchwork, the brand now using the technique atop not only the Dunk Low but also this upcoming Blazer Mid.

Compared to the Thank You For Caring Dunk Low, however, this Blazer is far more subdued, quite a few levels down in terms of visual aggression. From the forefoot back, the colorway is neutral, each panel greyed in a shade light or dark. Soles as well as the Swooshes and laces above complement in white, contrasting against the grain of different patterned mesh and even some more graphic heavy gridded swatches. Corduroy then makes an appearance near the toe, matching the frontward cap in color and heel tab in texture.

Branded over top with the usual embroidery, this Blazer Mid should become available at Nike.com in the coming months.

For something a bit more simple, take a look at the University Gold Nike Tailwind 79.
