Jovani Hernandez The original adidas Yeezy Basketball Quantum is releasing globally in February 2021 after a Chicago-exclusive launch during NBA All-Star Weekend 2020.
Although Kanye West and his team likely have additional plans for 2021’s NBA event, news of the performance-hoops shoe returning follows a growing trend of reissuing sneakers from the aforementioned adidas-subsidiary. The pair’s lifestyle model saw a global relaunch in September, while other propositions from the Yeezy empire have made their way back to retailers throughout the year. As the forthcoming pair is meant for the hardwood, it features robust padding around the collar, reworked tread and less reflective detailing across the profiles.
An official release date hasn’t been confirmed, but it’s likely the basketball-ready Yeezy Quantum will return in mid-February 2021.
