Caught on the IGs of sneaker insiders and even The Weeknd, BAPE‘s latest collaboration with Reebok — which sets its sights on the Club C for the first time since the two met — is soon to arrive in very limited quantity. In celebration of the returning BAPE STA, the two have dressed the classic silhouette in a number of motifs and patterns unique to the Japanese streetwear legend.
But aside from these color-heavy touch-ups, the pair is as minimalist as the Club C is typically, even more so as it removes much of the side profile’s paneling. As a result, the leather construction is near seamless at most points, only bothered by the perforations along the vamp and the overlays that lay over top the toe, eye stay, and heel tab in matching white shade. And while the woven label at the tongue and the “BAPE STA” text at the heel do well to continue the monochromatic palette, the stars at each side are less dedicated, their textured camo prints clad in green, purple, red, and blue in order from left to right.
Grab a detailed look at the BAPE x Reebok Club C below. If you’d like to get your hands on a set, then it might be difficult unless you live in South Florida: only 200 pairs (and a complementary tee and tote bag) are launching exclusively at BAPE STORE Miami this Saturday, December 19th. A second iteration of the model is scheduled for Spring 2021 alongside a yet-to-be-revealed accompaniment.
On that same date, the Sean Cliver SB Dunks will be releasing at skate shops and even Nike SNKRS.
