Thanks in part to ACG’s influence, Nike’s inline releases have caught the outdoors bug, many tweaked to better take on the trail. In the case of this upcoming Air Max 95, though, the changes are more cosmetic as only the palette seems suited for the mud.
Underfoot, the tread is molded in typical fashion, hued black in contrast to the silver finish found above at the midsole. Then, across the layers of leather and nubuck, earth-tones alternate between a darkened slate to an olive, then to a brown, and finally to a dark, muted navy. Thick, wide gauge mesh finds its place further up, masking that of a thicker weave whose grey shade extend from the toe box to the lining and inside tongue.
Branded with further metallics, this Air Max 95 should be arriving at both Nike.com and select retailers within the coming months.
In more AM95 news, the silhouette is also drawing inspiration from Stussy with the Air Max 95 Fossil.
