The Air Jordan 1 Mid will forever remain in the shadows of its taller counterpart to some, but the silhouette continues to sway opinions with its impressive ensembles. The latest arrives soon in a “Black/White” colorway reminiscent of the first Air Jordan‘s “Premium Essentials” release from 2016.
At a glance, the forthcoming mid-top appears identical to the aforementioned one-half of the “Yin & Yang” duo, but closer inspection reveals otherwise. For starters, the latest proposition doesn’t don the Jordan 1‘s tallest trim. And while “Black” leather takes over most of the pair’s upper construction, “NIKE AIR” branding and a scarlet tone is missing from the retro’s tongue label. Elsewhere, “White” delivers stark contrast at the profile swooshes and ankle flap’s emblems. Underfoot, sole units round out the color scheme with a two-tone arrangement ostensibly transplanted by the four-year-old duo.
