adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Sun” Rumored For January 23rd Release

feature image

First teased in October 2020, the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Sun” has recently emerged in an in-hand look ahead of its rumored January 2021 launch.

Unlike its Yeezy 350 “Ash Stone” counterpart, the forthcoming take on Kanye West’s original “dad” shoe resembles its initial mockup. Paneling across the forefoot and along the profiles maintains its inaugural “Wave Runner” palette, but surrounding respective overlays and underlays indulge in brighter shades of yellow. Midsoles opt into their Steven Smith-designed aesthetic, but up the vibrant ante via their predominantly orange arrangement. Outsoles boast a gum brown-reminiscent finish, which tones down the upcoming Yeezy‘s “Sun” ensemble.

UPDATE (01/04/2021):
The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Sun” is set to launch on January 23rd, and is rumored to arrive at a $240 USD price tag instead of the original $300 USD one.
