Similar to their peers, adidas has recently caught the gaming bug, the brand slowly unveiling an entire collection inspired by the pastime. And just like the Glitchy Superstar before it, the NMD seen here adopts a number of digital-esque cosmetics.
The core construction, though, is far more subdued, dyed a black to better spotlight the tweaks layered atop. Boost soles, laces, and linings follow suit in the dark neutral, while the Three Stripes to the side opt for an outline of dark blue. This shade, which is used at the trefoil above and the midsole block below, is then found accented across both the heel tab and vamp, two fixtures whose respective glitching and iridescent loosely mimic the lights of retro games.
Grab a detailed look at this NMD-shaped sequel here and expect to see it on adidas.com come January 7th.
In other news, the Yeezy Boost 700 Sun will only cost $240 USD.
