Michael Le With Chinese New Year around the corner, it seems most of Nike’s collaborators are getting in the spirit. As Edison Chen prepares both his Jordan 35 and Jordan 14 Low, Yoon Ahn has crafted something far more exclusive: a “Chicago” inspired colorway of her recently offered AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High.
Clad in a fringed fur coat, Ahn took to social media to reveal her special (likely F&F) pair, one that will likely never make it to shelves as her “NFS” caption expresses. The scheme, though applied over top the motorcycle-influenced form, is as true to the original as possible, with reds dyed into many of the overlaid leathers and even the tread. White lines underneath, perforations and all, while the tongue label and near weaponized Swoosh finish in shades of black.
