Nike Channels The Air Trainer Max ’91 With The Cross Trainer Low

Nike’s considered use of their past has carried them well into the present. Alongside some beloved Jordan retros and inspired colorways, the imprint has even brought back the unsung heroes of the last couple decades, including the Cross Trainer Low.

After a few options earlier last year, the silhouette is back in the spotlight for 2021, clad in a scheme reminiscent of one of the Air Trainer Max ’91’s best. As it mimics to a close spec, the pair’s Swoosh and lower molds are hued in the very same loud “Speed Yellow” tone. Elsewhere, greys coat the leather panels from the toe cap to the counter, most accented with all-over perforations. Blacks then round off the palette as they overlay the forefoot in match of the tread, lining, and tongue label.

Grab a detailed look at this nod to 91 here and find it at Nike.com within the coming months.

In other news, an SNS New Balance 920 is on the way.
