Michael Le In preparation for their Spring/Summer ’21 season, Supreme‘s upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low collaborations have gradually started to appear one-by-one via official images. Following the “Hyper Blue” and “Mean Green,” the silhouette has appeared again today in the accompanying “Barkroot Brown” colorway.
Among the four total offerings, this scheme is certainly one of the more versatile color pairings. The titular earth tone is dressed onto the overlays, treated to a texture made reptilian by design. The scales and cracks wrap from the forefoot to the heel, dressing the eye stays, Swoosh, and heel tab. Gilding in the form of “Nike” embroidery and stars then rest atop at the back tab and mid-panel, respectively, complementing that of the accessorizing “SUPREME” dubrae. Further use of the streetwear icon’s name can then be found on the insole, printed onto their signature red shade.
