In addition to launching the next chapter of his Jordan “Why Not?” series, Russell Westbrook has taken the start of 2021 as an opportunity to release the budget-friendlier Jordan Westbrook One Take II. And the model is off to an impressive start given its recent Air Jordan 6 “DMP”-like ensemble.
At a glance, the lower-priced silhouette resembles the new “Why Not?” Zer0.4, specifically in the “Family” colorway. The mixed-materials upper, however, features a less-streamlined aesthetic, as well as simpler performance-oriented design details. The synthetic overlays and accents throughout the midfoot and heel contrast the predominantly “Black” surroundings with their “Metallic Gold” finish, which also takes over Westbrook’s logo on the de-coupled outsole. Tread boasts an aggressive herringbone pattern suitable for dynamic play styles, and sits underneath forefoot Zoom Air cushioning.
