The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Volt Gold,” the first retro of 2021, is launching across Europe on Saturday, January 16th, following a stateside drop on January 9th.

Although rooted in heritage, the forthcoming pair is unquestionably experimental. For starters, its “Volt” and “University Gold” tones deviate from the team colors Michael Jordan donned throughout his NBA career. Furthermore, the sneaker’s inverted, translucent tongue label forgoes traditional design cues of the first Air Jordan silhouette. The tall trim and “White” and “Black” arrangement found throughout the rest of the upper, however, cements the proposition’s place in the NIKE, Inc. subsidiary’s storied roster.

Enjoy another look at the eye-catching Jordan 1 here below, and find pairs available across Europe on January 16th.

For more from the Jumpman Brand, check out the Jordan 6 “Carmine” returning on February 13th.
