Michael Le Not long ago, snakeskin dressed many a Nike silhouette, most of which were GRs. And as it’s been quite a while since the material last made an appearance, the brand is ushering in its return atop the classic Blazer Mid ’77.
Suited up for women exclusively, the offering somewhat mimics a colorway offered prior. “Sail” is worked into the leather upper near entirely, with both the sole, laces, and tongue dyeing to match. Forward, along the toe cap and forefoot overlays, a textural suede is treated to a grey neutral, one that effectively elevates the rest of the understated palette. Then, atop the Swoosh, the aforementioned snakeskin shows off its scales which hue to both dark and light earth tones.
