Jovani Hernandez First teased all the way back in May 2020, the Air Jordan 9 “Dark Charcoal” finally arrives to retailers on Saturday, January 30th.
Confirmed by NIKE, Inc. in November of last year, the pair surprisingly struck a chord with countless sneaker enthusiasts whom previously overlooked the silhouette. Historically, the model hasn’t been a staple in retro collections, perhaps because Michael Jordan never played an official NBA game in the shoe. Nevertheless, the forthcoming proposition’s versatile “Black/Dark Charcoal/University Gold” colorway has raised eyebrows and led many to put aside $190 USD. This option may have to thank the similarly-colored Jordan 12 “University Gold” that launched in July 2020. In any case, the pair’s straight-forward arrangement has turned several naysayers into believers.
Enjoy another look at the three-tone Jordan 9 here below, and find them launching via Nike SNKRS on January 30th in sizing for the whole family.
For more Jordan release dates, the Jordan 3 “Cool Grey” arrives on February 20th.
