Ahead of the Nike Air Structure Triax ’91‘s official return, the silhouette has emerged in images depicting it in an original “Metallic Summit White/Black/Persian Violet” colorway.
Designed to combat over-pronation while running, the padded sneaker features a mesh base overlaid with geometric panels. The pair’s titular “Persian Violet” tone (which resembles “Light Concord” at certain angles) animates both materials, with its most pronounced appearance arriving across the forefoot and heel. Lateral swooshes deliver stark “Black” contrast, but are overshadowed by the infrared-reminiscent hue that animates top eyestays and midsole tooling on the medial side, as well as branding on the tongue, insole and heel. Lastly, the visible Air Max unit underfoot forgoes any of-the-era color for a simple, off-white makeup.
Enjoy official images of the forthcoming retro here below, and expect pairs to hit Nike.com throughout spring.
