Original Unworn Air Jordan 1s Autographed By Michael Jordan Listed For A Million Dollars

Upon the original debut of the Air Jordan 1, no one could accurately predict how big the shoe would become in the years thereafter. And since that faithful day in 1985, the shoe’s original makes and colorways have only begun to increase in rarity, in scarcity, and even in price. Today, one of these prized jewels have surfaced via second-hand marketplace eBay in as pristine a condition as possible.

Unworn, signed by MJ himself, and complete with a certificate of authenticity, this OG Chicago colorway comes at a high 1 Million dollar BIN. According to the listing, there are only 15 to 20 sets of DS pairs in this SKU, with only two (this one being one of said two) publicly verified and dressed with the iconic rookie signature.

For reference, a pair of game-worn 1s sold via auction in 2020 at a then-astonishing $615,000 USD. That begs to question what collectors value higher: an unworn and signed pair or one graced by Michael Jordan himself?
