Jasmine Tang Last month, adidas kicked off the year with numerous updates to the classic Ultraboost and Forum franchises. Now, the brand is adding styles to the much newer adidas 4D line. The 4D Fusio, which has only been seen in two colorways so far, will be offered in a “Chalk White/Core Black/Light Purple” arrangement reminiscent of the vivid colors viewed during sunsets.
Although the uppers are primarily in a grey “Chalk White”, threads of purple, orange, and pink are woven into the Primeknit material. The pair adopts a unique lacing system that ditches traditional lace cages for translucent piping that also incorporates hits of the aforementioned orange. This same shade is seen on the TPU belt that wraps around the base, featuring a “4D”-branded pattern repeated throughout. This element bleeds into a pink midsole for a sunset-like color palette. The purple lattice 4D Futurecraft sole unit completes the design for a futuristic look.
