As it’s done over the past three decades, Reebok has prepped a footwear collection ahead of International Women’s Day (March 8th). Most recently, the (yet-to-be-unveiled) lineup’s Instapump Fury has emerged via official images, depicting a previously-unseen “Ceramic Pink/Baked Earth/Twisted Coral” color-blocking.
Akin to 2020’s commemorative capsule, the forthcoming pair is part of a “It’s A Man’s World” campaign; insoles are stamped with the initiative’s title. Philly-bred artist Distortedd isn’t associated to the latest take on Steven Smith’s original design, but some of the boldness she injected into the model appears on 2021’s offering. Spring-friendly tones take over the Pump system-featuring silhouette, with the bladder overlay indulging in a split arrangement. The mesh base seen across the forefoot and the heel structure introduce earth tones into the mix, while accents throughout the pull tabs and tooling complement the vibrancy of the “Twisted Coral” that animates part of the tongue. A message relating to the campaign hides behind the tongue’s shroud: “UNITED BY DIFFERENCE”.
Enjoy images of the shoes here below, and anticipate pairs to hit Reebok.com in March.
