Michael Le For Nike’s brand new “City Special” collection, the brand has chosen to celebrate Atlanta two ways. Here, following the debut of a gradient-accented Vapormax Plus, the Air Max Plus is taking the reigns, appearing in a bright, full pink make-up.
Like the NY and CHI options before it, this pair is rather straightforward. The focal pink shade is worked into near every fixture, coloring the mesh base, its hard-shell supports, and the leather panels adjacent. It even goes as far to dye the entire tooling and its Air Units, while also marking the near velvet texture of the inner lining. But along the Air Max insignia and the gilded dubrae, the colorway adds a nice yellow pop, nodding to some A-Town luxury.
