While no longer celebrating its 30th anniversary, the ASICS GEL-Lyte III has recently appeared in an impressive tri-colored style under an “Emerging Market” theme.

Perhaps a nod to the split-tongue silhouette’s rise in popularity in Europe throughout the mid-2000s, the newly-launched pair features a white mesh base. Profile vector logos, plastic eyelets and inner lining indulge in stark red contrast, while overlays around the forefoot and heel deliver a navy suede makeup. Tooling underfoot on ASICS‘ iconic model further drives home the Union Jack-reminiscent color palette.
