Jasmine Tang As a sportswear company, it’s almost mandatory for Nike to offer its products in fan-favorite sports team colors. Case in point: the upcoming black and orange Nike Air Max 90—a two-tone colorway that bears striking resemblance to the alternate jerseys of the beloved San Francisco Giants.
For its base, the pair opts for an all-black mesh and leather makeup. TPU accents for the eyestays and heel tab—as well as the leather mudguard—are also in black for a nearly monochromatic look. The silver Swoosh uses reflective materials, illuminating both the lateral and medial sides of the model. Nike Air Max logos and the inside of the Air cassette introduce a red-orange that crafts the San Francisco Giants color palette. Finishing the team-inspired look is a black sole unit that delivers great traction via a waffle-patterned outsole.
