The “Happy Pineapple” Appears On The Nike Air Max 90

Nike’s love for food has never been more evident as it is right now. With the Air Max 90 “Bacon” coming back in just a few more weeks, the brand is warming up their palate as they offer the silhouette in a much sweeter “Happy Pineapple” colorway.

Quite a bit of the upper mimics the fruit in question. The Swoosh, for instance, is tinged in a saturated orange shade, matching the smiling embroideries clad atop the tongue. Its leafy greens are also used as reference, inspiring the ribbed molds at the top eye stay and the back of the midsole. Elsewhere, the rest of the construction is tonally understated in its off-white finish, one that better complements the dark, recycled nature of the tread and the soft pink shades above.

Grab a close-up peek at this Air Max 90 below. A release should find its way to Nike.com and select retailers soon.

In other news, the Vapormax Flyknit 2021 Oreo is also releasing very soon.

Updated May 18th, 2021: A EU/UK release date is set for June 1st, 2021.
