The Nike Air Max 97 Appears In 90s Friendly Neon Hues

The Nike Air Max 97 Appears In 90s Friendly Neon Hues

The 90s have become a huge source of inspiration for Nike in recent years. Just like flared jeans have come up to bat yet again, so, too, have the bright, playful palettes. Here, the Air Max 97 — which made its original debut back during the aforementioned decade — is catching a look rather retro, one brimming with a number of neons.

The tread steals the spotlight first, donning a hot pink all throughout the mostly obscured fixture. Its midsole just above, however, is far more unassuming in its white finish, though the same cannot be said for the Air Unit which hues purple just like the miniature Swoosh and pulls above. Further use of pink comes by way of the tongue label’s see-through panel, an addition that makes another appearance along the lower upper in “Volt.” Elsewhere, the rest of the construction is bereft of any color, dressed simple in its white leathers and mesh.

Take a closer look at these below. A release will arrive at Nike.com and possibly select retailers soon.

In other news, the Jordan 9 Change The World was unfortunately postponed.
