Michael Le Whenever Nike lands on a winner, they go all-in. Such is the case for their flora and fruit-inspired creations, the pack soon to grow by yet another with the recently unveiled Daybreak Type “Pomegranate.”
Despite the change in theme, the pair features elements signature to previous subjects. For example, cork outfits quite a bit of the counter, complimenting the Swoosh and heel tab. But in the latter’s text, it describes only the Pomegranate’s scientific name, part of use, and habitat, setting the stage for the full-color embroideries that dress the tongue. Elsewhere, black-dyed canvas constructs the rest of the upper, white laces/midsoles outfit adjacent, and recycled rubbers add sustainability underfoot.
