Candy Land’s Sweet Reworks Of Four Reebok Classics Release April 21st

Candy Land’s Sweet Reworks Of Four Reebok Classics Release April 21st

In the first four months of 2021 alone, Reebok has officially (and unofficially) teased handfuls of compelling collaborations with new and old co-conspirators alike. For its latest endeavor, the Massachusetts-based sportswear brand has tapped Hasbro’s Candy Land for a four-pair collection including sweet takes on the Question Mid, Kamikaze II, Classic Leather and Club C 85.

As is expected from any joint-effort with the sweets-themed board game, each iteration of Reebok’s basketball, tennis and running propositions indulge in vibrant, multi-colored palettes. Allen Iverson’s first signature sneaker and the Kamikaze II headline the four-pair capsule, both indulging in pink, yellow and purple flair. Unlike the Question Mid, however, the Shawn Kemp-endorsed sneaker forgoes any waffle cone-reminiscent detailing, polka-dots at the forefoot and faux grass swathes on the tongue in favor of patent leather clad in solid shades of eye-catching tones.

By comparison, the Classic Leather and Club C 85 are kids’-exclusives, but indulge in equally-statement-making arrangements. Lollipop, ice cream and wrapped candy graphics adorn the entirety of the classic running sneaker, while the once tennis-icon indulges in an aesthetic similar to the Kamikaze II: glossy panels across the upper divvy up green, purple and other colors from the rainbow. Two-tone “CANDY LAND” branding on the tongue further tie these sneakers to Hasbro’s classic 72-year-old game.

Enjoy imagery of all pairs here below before heading over to Reebok.com on April 21st to secure yours.

Elsewhere in sneaker collaborations, the South Park x adidas Campus 80s “Towelie” launches on April 20th.

UPDATE 4/21/2021:
In honor of their collaboration, Reebok and Hasbro have created a Candy Land themed basketball court for the kids of A.R. “Gus” Barksdale Boys & Girls Club. For imagery, check below.
