The Nike PG 5 Appears In Classic Los Angeles Clippers Colors As Playoffs Near

As naysayers eagerly wait to see him underperform in the NBA Playoffs, Paul George has quietly prepped a Los Angeles Clippers-friendly Nike PG 5.

The newly-surfaced pair arrives right after the L.A. squad has just won 14 of its last 17 games, several in which George scored 30 or more points. Synthetic overlays and textile bases indulge in shades of “Crimson Tint,” white and a rich blue, all pairing well with the Clippers’ team colors. Swoosh logos around the heel follow in the style of the “AIR”-branded accent on the midsole, which nods to the full-length Zoom Airbag strobel, which has appeared on George and others’ signature Nike sneakers.
