Jovani Hernandez First previewed in early March, the Nike SB Dunk High “Hawaii” (also known as “Maui Wowie”) arrives to retailers on Friday, April 23rd.
Clad in spring-friendly shades inspired by the Hawaiian islands (and a certain sativa strain grown on them), the latest proposition from Nike SB boasts a surprise underneath its tropical-patterned overlays. Panels along the tongue, around the forefoot and across the heel wear-away to reveal an extremely hairy suede reminiscent of the “Maui Wowie” (or “Maui Waui) marijuana strain. “Sail” on the tongue, laces, profile swooshes and outsole allow the aforementioned detailing to revel that much more in the spotlight.
