adidas Yeezy has yet to move entirely away from pre-existing silhouettes, but it’s breathed new life into some of its most recognizable designs throughout the first four months of 2021. The Yeezy BOOST 700, widely-credited as popularizing the “dad shoe” trend, has emerged in a new “Enflame Amber” colorway set to release in June.
At a glance, the forthcoming Yeezy sneaker resembles the “Sun” style that launched in late January, but closer inspection reveals some discrepancies. Sole units maintain a vivid, predominantly-orange arrangement, while tread and BOOST foam visible from underneath boast their typical black and white makeups, respectively. The bevy of materials across the upper indulge in muted shades of yellow and brown, both also having appeared on the Yeezy 500 “Enflame”. And while introducing a fresh look to the current Yeezys landscape, the next BOOST-cushioned shoe features the same hit of rich blue near the vamp introduced by the Yeezy 700 “Wave Runner” in 2017, a model anticipated to restock in August.
