For those that want a pair of Dunks but don’t want to conform to the trends, there’s always the Dunk Low Disrupt. A reimaging of the original, the silhouette misshapes and contorts many of the usual features for a look far more bold. And though it doesn’t appear quite as often, new colorways like this forthcoming “Sea Glass” have only started to surface.
Two-toned like many of the Dunk’s best, the scheme is an appropriate entry for the Spring/Summer season. The titular “Sea Glass” dresses the tumbled leather overlays throughout, giving off a pigment that’s part-grey, part-tan. This shade also outfits the tread and Swoosh, while the midsole and base adjacent stick to more ordinary white neutrals. The tongue, in likely nod to vintage, then gives off a slight yellow tint and reveals a bit of its inner foam.
