The Nike Dunk Low is experiencing a sort of diminishing marginal utility, a result of the recent influx in new colorways. But in an effort to change things up, the brand is experimenting with new paneling for this upcoming “Scrap” colorway.
There’s certainly a lot to take in. Gone are many of the silhouette’s usual signatures, such as the two-toned look and full leather make-up. Instead, only the overlays utilize the latter material, complementing it underneath with a much more breathable brown mesh. Swooshes, though rather ordinary in their shape, bear a slight bulk thanks in part to its second, contrasted underlayer. What’s more, the profile is further embellished with seemingly random blue embroideries, a touch that matches the various paneling adjacent. Each, which arrive in different shapes and sizes, alternate between shades earthy and vividly colorful.
For a closer look, check the leaked images below. A release is currently unknown, but it’s possible we’ll see them on shelves before the end of the year.
In other news, the Yeezy 500 Enflame releases this week.
